The editor of Tube City Almanac is rumored to be a close, personal friend of Jay Thurber, who hosts a Saturday oldies show on Pittsburgh's WRCT-FM (88.3).

Here's some content from his lousy radio show:

Incidentally, that show will not be heard this weekend, so that the station can bring you a special presentation. (There will now be a brief pause while you say, "So what?")

P.S.: No offense is intended to Neville Island. Its name just unfortunately rhymes --- sort of --- with "Mattel." It's swell!
