Volunteers Needed for Catfish Pond Clean-up

Allegheny CleanWays and the Allegheny Land Trust are calling for volunteers to remove tires, trash and other debris from the tributaries that flow into the Catfish Pond in Liberty Borough.

This event will be held rain or shine on Sunday, November 17th, 2013 from 2pm until 5 pm. Volunteers will gather at the Catfish Pond entrance of the Dead Man's Hollow conservation area along Sceneridge Drive in Liberty Borough.

Gloves, trash bags, tools, first aid kit and drinks will be provided. Volunteers should be sure to wear appropriate footwear.
