MLT Brings 'Westing Game' Intrigue to Life

Category: Announcements || By

A beloved murder-mystery novel comes to life as McKeesport Little Theater presents "The Westing Game," now through Nov. 24.

Adapted by Darian Lindle from the Newbery Award-winning novel by Ellen Raskin, "Westing" allows the audience to help solve the mystery in what has been described as "a combination of a mystery novel, a jigsaw puzzle and the game of 'Clue.'"

The plot revolves around a mysterious will. The unsuspecting residents of Sunset Towers are summoned to the reading of the will, only to find themselves locked in a thrilling game, as they must discover who is responsible for killing an eccentric millionaire. Through blizzards, bombings and unlikely alliances, the game is on, and the only people who hold all the clues are one Westing heir and the audience.

Showtimes are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. McKeesport Little Theater is located at 1614 Coursin St. For more information, call (412) 673-1100 or visit the MLT's website.
