The Allegheny County Health Department's main office will relocate temporarily from Oakland to the Kane Regional Center in Glen Hazel, a spokesman said.

The main office will be permanently located at the former County Morgue Building, 542 Fourth Avenue, Downtown Pittsburgh, after renovations are completed next summer.

Beginning Dec. 5, the following Health Department offices will be housed on the fourth floor at the Kane Regional Center in Glen Hazel: Director's Office; Administration; Emergency Preparedness and Response; Epidemiology and Biostatistics; Fee and Permit; Human Resources; Legal Counsel; Management Information Systems; Policy Development and Assessment; and Public Information.

The telephone numbers for all offices will not change and office hours will remain 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, a spokesman said. Free parking is available for visitors and bus service is provided via the 57 Hazelwood.
