Festival of Trees Includes Live Entertainment

McKeesport's 28th annual Festival of Trees gets underway Thursday in Renziehausen Park, with more than 80 hand-decorated Christmas trees on display at Jacob Woll Pavilion.

Hours are 12 to 9 p.m. through Dec. 9. Live entertainment will include choral groups and dancers, a committee organizer said.

The tree-lighting ceremony begins at 6 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Arboretum Drive and Sycamore Drive (near the senior center). The West Mifflin Area Titan Chorals and Show Choir will perform at 6:15 p.m.

1-1:30 p.m.: McKeesport Area High School Vocal
1:30-2 p.m.: McKeesport Area High School Band
2-4 p.m.: Bill Barnes
6-7 p.m.: St Angela's Choir
7-7:30 p.m.: Founders Hall Choir
7:30-8 p.m.: Founders Hall Jazz Band

Saturday, Dec. 7

4-6 p.m.: Bill Barnes
6-7 p.m.: The Link Family Singers
7-9 p.m.: Pastor Judy and Larry Walker

Sunday, Dec. 8

12:30-1:30 p.m.: Beulah Park UMC Choir
2-4 p.m.: Chalice
4:30-5 p.m.: Christ Temple A.M.E
