Mifflin Twp. Historical Society Holds Ribbon-Cutting

The
Mifflin Twp. Historical Society will have a ribbon cutting ceremony at its new home, the former West Mifflin police station on Greensprings Avenue, at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, a spokesman said.
The old township included modern-day Homestead, West Homestead, Munhall, Hays, Lincoln Place, Whitaker, Duquesne, Pleasant Hills, Clairton, Dravosburg, West Elizabeth, Jefferson Hills, Baldwin and West Mifflin. Festivities begin at 12 noon and continue until 4 p.m., with ribbon cutting at 12:30.
The police station moved in May to the new West Mifflin borough offices on Lebanon Road, near the Allegheny County Airport.
