Join Harold Hayes of KDKA-TV (2) and members of the McKeesport Unit of the NAACP during a celebration of Black History Month at the McKeesport Regional History & Heritage Center.
The program at 2 p.m. Feb. 22 is free and open to the public.
Hayes will discuss the creation of the NAACP, and local volunteers will discuss the past, present and future of the McKeesport Unit, which was founded May 9, 1960, thanks to the efforts of the late Mary Lee Truss.
