The Pessimist's View

(default)

The downside, of course, is that we have to listen to "Here We Go" by The Fan Club for another two weeks.

I’d like to see them devote a radio station to playing that song and ONLY that song for the next two weeks, so that anyone who wants to hear that piece of s*** can go hear it, and the rest of us can mercifully avoid it. Hey, if they can do an all-Christmas format, then why not this? I nominate 970 or 1360, since almost no one is listening to either of those stations anyway.

It’s still worth it. GO STEELERS!

You couldn’t be wrong about 970 since there are plenty of folks who listen to that station.

Who else comes anywhere close to covering the Pittsburgh sports scene than that station? Not the giant Mickey Mouse station and their rant-master who represents everything bad that people despise about Pittsburgh sports fans.

I’ve lived all over the eastern half of the country, and nobody comes close being as horrible as that man who prides himself on his obnixiousness.

I’ll take knowlegeable radio hosts who treat their callers as guests with respect any day over a talking blast furnace.

Local guys covering local sports. It’s that simple.
